Do you try more to be original, or to deliver to readers what they want?
I am writing in alignment with my values, and my book is an extension of these values: Knowledge, Achievement, Empowerment, Connection, and Respect.
What is it about your chosen genre that you love?
I love the nonfiction genre and have read numerous books in this area.
How do you select the names of your characters?
No characters – just me.
What was the first book that made you cry?
Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch.
If you had to do something differently as a child or teenager to become a better writer as an adult, what would you do?
I would keep my journals from that time. I had them and lost them when I changed countries.
Have you Googled yourself? Did you find out anything interesting?
There is a handbag designer and a famous singer of the same name. There are lots of us! Hehe!
Did you ever consider writing under a pseudonym? Why?
No. Part of my story is about owning my own story and voice.
How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?
None. One started and one finished.
Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
I have had great feedback from readers. It has started great conversations between mothers and daughters, husbands and wives & friends. The photos of my readers and their book from around the world have been to exciting.
