Do you try more to be original, or to deliver to readers what they want?
Deliver what people want.
What is it about your chosen genre that you love?
I am passionate about enabling people to talk about grief and death, so we can all face the reality that all of us will face.
How do you select the names of your characters?
Everyone in this book is real.
What was the first book that made you cry?
‘Little Girls Gift’, and ‘Helen Keller’.
If you had to do something differently as a child or teenager to become a better writer as an adult, what would you do?
Learn more creativity.
Have you Googled yourself? Did you find out anything interesting?
It talks about me as a celebrant, and I am good with that.
Are there any secrets in your books that only a few people will find? Can you tell us one? Or give us any hints?
Nope, it is all fact and honest.
Did you ever consider writing under a pseudonym? Why?
This book has been compiled by me, and I didn’t want all the credit, as the stories by the parents are the real heroes.
How did publishing your first book change your writing process?
Writing less creatively, and more honestly without preaching has been a challenge.
How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?
None yet!
Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
None yet.
